Q. Who can use Crystal Clear Hire?
A. Crystal Clear Hire has been designed to work with any currency and any date
format. Each computer running Microsoft Windows contains regional settings
which specify how dates and currencies are viewed on your computer.
These settings are obtained by Crystal Clear Hire each time a
date or currency is displayed.
Q. How are Orders and Invoices configured to suit my needs?
A. Crystal Clear Hire uses document templates created in Microsoft Word to
dictate how invoices/orders are laid out and what information is contained
within them. Crystal Clear Hire transfers information into the template using
defined 'tags'. For example, if the tag [CUSTOMER_NAME] is present in the
template, this would be replaced by the real customer name.
The same principle is applied when listing items for rent within an
order/invoice. A table row is specified in the template which dictates what
information should be shown for each item. To get an idea of how flexible this
approach is, you can specify up to 17 different pieces of information for each
item within an invoice alone.
These templates allow complete customisation of how you want your forms to
appear. From the information contained, to the images you wish to add and their
positions.
Q. Errors during printing...
A. Printing errors are normally indicative of Microsoft updates which have not been applied to the computer on which Crystal Clear Hire has been installed. If you have Microsoft Office 2003, please ensure you have the most up to date service pack. This can be found by following the link below:
